Microgrid inverter based on virtual synchronous machine (VSG) control

The project results were successfullyapplied to the Tibet Coqen microgrid project at an altitude of 4,800 meters inOctober 2014. Two 500KVA microgrid inverters based on virtual synchronousgenerator (VSG) technology jointly developed by the team and Sungrow Power wereused. The goal of independently supplying two sets of 500KVA VSG and two 30KVAfans, 500KVA photovoltaic wind power and 300KVA diesel generators to the“Wind-Light-Storage-Chai Coal-fired Microgrid” independently to the CoqinCounty

has been realized. The goal of “wind-light-storage-firewood

combinedpower generation microgrid” and the 960KVA hydropower station of Coqin Countyto supply power to the county has truly achieved the goal of poweringhigh-quality microgrid in Coqin County.
